I have a backup script that my laptop users use to backup up there systems to a networked drive. Is there a way using perl to see if outlook is open and then if it is open to close it gracefully? It would need to be able to detect dialog boxes such as do you want to empty your deleted items folder and then answer them. shrug. Any ideas or links would be apprecated. I think it could be done with ole but would prefer another alternative.
