I have tried to install DBI and I saw that it tells me that perl is installed thread enabled and that this is not recommended for production environments. How can I install perl without beeing thread enabled? I use perl 5.8.4 under Linux Fedora Core 2. If perl is already installed, can I do something to make it not beeing thread enabled without re-installing all the modules? Thank you.
