You're right John. I probably used my limited knowledge of Perl and a lot
of books to redo this script so that it worked exactly the way I wanted.
But, it works great for me! I do appreciate your correcting the syntax
though. It helps in my learning process.
It's kind of like when I used to go to my daughter's youth orchestra
concerts. My husband and her oboe teacher would listen and comment about
all the times someone was off key. I would listen and because my musical
knowledge is much more limited than their's I just enjoyed the concert. I
was oblivious to the off-key problems. So the script might not be pretty to
those of you who know a lot more than I do about Perl. But to me it's a
great script.
