This script is to be run from an nfs mount on many systems, so it has to run with the modules installed as standard with perl.
Well I've managed to do it with the Expect module, but then realised that this doesn't come a standard with most perl distributions. I must have previously installed it through CPAN. So I'm back to square 1 - how might I do this with just the modules included in a standard perl install?
