I learnt from the Camel book, not too long ago (a couple of years now I guess, 
actually). I still use it quite regularly as a reference. It's age has only 
bit me once: the talk about threads in it is quite out of date. However, it's 
been quite useful otherwise for me.

The other book I use a fair bit is 'The Perl Cookbook'. The pair is nice 
because they serve two quite different purposes: The Perl Cookbook is great 
for 'how do I do this task' type problems, Programming Perl is great when you 
need to look deeper into the language than that to create your own solutions 
to things.
