I've seen it both ways, as well (I think it's a British vs. American
distinction). I did not mean to correct your spelling. What I meant
was that I didn't understand the concept of "sanitizing" in a
programming context. Of course, you go on to do a great job of
explaining that.
Just didn't want you to think I'd get worked up over an 's' versus a
'z'! Especially after taking so much time to answer my questions!
