I already did that for libstree library. But instead of editing config.in what I did is adding prefix in config command. Like this: $ ./configure --prefix=~/tomypath Since this is the standard instruction there. And looking at the configure.in doesn't give me any useful direction. > Perhaps? yours have a config file that needs edited.
