My previous messages reflect that I am having trouble installing any module via the CPAN module in perl. So what are my options?
You can "manually" install, instead of using the CPAN module. Along the way, you'll probably learn what you need to do to get the CPAN module working for you.
Do I just unzip these to the perl/lib directory? Or are there other variables (system, perl or otherwise) I have to modify?
The perlmodinstall manpage covers the module installation process in detail; I think you'll find that it answers many of your questions.
