Just a thought:
Maybe you're TCP-Checksum-Offloading on the box running ethereal, so you'll
never see correct checksums via ethereal/wireshark/...
I think you may be right. I saw something about that in the wireshark
FAQ. I don't pretend to know what offloading is.. but I don't think
it seems to be hurting anything in practice (just confuses me when I
look at my pcaps). Thanks!
