Hi, has anyone messed around with Mac::Carbon or Mac::Sound? The distribution includes no documentation and simply refers to Inside Macintosh for docs. When I look at Inside Macintosh, I find lots of information about using the functions with a Carbon developer's kit in C++, but nothing about using perl. It is difficult for me to translate the C++ examples to perl.
My intent is to read the mac's microphone and do some signal processing on it, but apple has made an easy thing difficult by incorporating far too much generality. I also looked at various perl microphone interfaces, but they are not supported on the Mac. Is there any Mac::Sound documentation out there?
