Well, I never knew sprintf had a pad with zero's thing, and forgot that it even had pad with spaces. And I didn't know Perl could iterate a string like that. It seems intelligent (like AI kind of intelligent), but dangerous with possible unintended results. I may look more into it later. But thank you both, you rock.
