Hi all,

Kindly look at the code below:

my ($bi, $bn, @bchrs);

 my $boundry = "";

foreach $bn (48..57,65..90,97..122) {

     $bchrs[$bi++] = chr($bn);

     print "$bchrs[$bi]";

 }

Output:

Use of unitialized value within @bchrs

Now when same code is written as

my ($bi, $bn, @bchrs);

 my $boundry = "";

 foreach $bn (48..57,65..90,97..122) {

     $bchrs[$bi++] = chr($bn);

      }

print @bchrs;

Output:

0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

Why value is uninitialized in Case 1.

Thanks & Regards,

Sanket Vaidya
