Simon, The root cause is we have to deal with mesa/dri driver internal data structure because the new EGL extension is not accepted by mesa.
Do you have any suggestion for this situation? -----Original Message----- From: beignet-bounces+zhigang.gong=linux.intel....@lists.freedesktop.org [mailto:beignet-bounces+zhigang.gong=linux.intel....@lists.freedesktop.org] On Behalf Of Simon Richter Sent: Friday, September 6, 2013 4:33 PM To: beignet@lists.freedesktop.org Subject: Re: [Beignet] [PATCH 0/2] Refine cl_khr_gl_sharing. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, On 26.08.2013 16:45, Zhigang Gong wrote: > You could put the mesa source code package to ~/mesa or at the same > directory of the beignet source dir, or you can use MESA_SOURCE_DIR to > specify the directory of the mesa source code. That is a nightmare for distribution maintainers. At least in Debian, it is impossible to declare a build dependency on a source package, which makes it difficult to get a Mesa source tree onto the autobuilders. I'm going to drop EGL support for the next upload (soon-ish, as I'm quite busy at the moment), but would like to have Beignet with EGL in the next Debian release.
