Saya sedang berpikir untuk belajar pengembangan access. Saya tetep mau memakai access sebagai FE dan ingin mengembangkan BE dengan memakai SqlServer/Mysql/Postgresql. Saat ini saya pakai access 2003
saya googling mengenai hal tersebut jadi pusing sendiri, karena : 1. Mau pake Sqlserver 2005 tidak bisa support di access 2003, mau pake 2007 koq serem banyak yg kecewa. Apakah kalo mulai dari nol di access 2007 to SQLServer 2005 cukup bagus performancenya ? 2. Mau pake Mysql melalui ODBC juga ada beberapa keluhan mengenai kestabilan koneksi / kompatibilitas 3. Untuk Postgresql banyak yang bilang paling compatible dengan ODBC access, tapi koq agak kurang yakin dengan perkembangan postgre di masa datang. Ada yang menganjurkan untuk mulai berpikir utk pindah ke .NET, apa sekalian aja ya pindah ke webbase application pake PHP+Mysql yang lagi ngetop. Binun deh abis udah terlanjur cinta sama access sih. Sptnya M$ mau mematikan access kedepannya deh, atau mau dipatok hanya sampai middle - low application.
