I agree with Taneem that the core@ list should be restricted. I'm not sure what his reasons are (hopefully he will elaborate soon), but I think it's important for us to clearly define which individuals we consider to be core members. I'm not sure what Ankur's name is worth in the real world nowadays, but clearly there has been some abuse of it. The only reasonable way of disassociating Ankur with such abuse is to make clear which individuals have the authority to act 'officially' as Ankur representatives. By default only core members should have this authority.


I agree with Deepayan about this. Many people just becomes a member of core@ and starts posting about their query. This place should be a place only for the representatives.
