IIRC, Baishampayan Ghose is already working on the Bengali Translations
for Debian Installer. Makes no sense to duplicate the effort.
There already has been a lengthy discussion on this on the Debian-INdic
mailing list:

Need to check, if S/He is localizing only for Bengali-India or Bengali.
