Hello Friends For quite some time i was suffering from Bangla rendering in the native Firefox in SuSE, and the source code of 1.5.0.6 did not compile with '--enable-pango'.
At last the version that worked is Firefox 'Bon Echo' version 2.0b Beta. Though i had to supply pkg-config, pango, gtk and glib, their latest stable versions, from outside, by compiling them. The native versions did not work. All Bangla renderings are now done seamlessly by 'Bon Echo' after i compiled it pango-enabled. The compilation took around 160 minutes on my ancient Athlon 1800 machine with equally ancient Seagate HD. dipankar das ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
