You are absolutely correct. Actually, every PO files are passed
through "msgattrib --untranslated" to avoid any modification of
translated, fuzzy messages as in offline client. However, offline
client also uses "msgmerge" to merge back newly translated
file with the original file.
Currently, online interface does not store original po files,
so "msgmerge" step is disabled.
So until temproary file storing is implemented, my suggestion
would be to manually use "msgmerge" command with the downloaded
file along with the original file :-(
