It's good to know that its working now :-) > > SAMAKAL.ttf font was used and it showed bangla crrectly. I am trying to > create a browser plugin for bangla dictionary. Also, is SAMAKAL.ttf font a Unicode font? > I could not access mail archive of bangladictionary due to some permission > lackings. I would recommend you to subscribe to Ankur-core mailing list https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bengalinux-core for discussion relating to Ankur dictionary project now. > One more thing, i would be happy to participate to anubadok project. Given, you are currently working with dictionary stuffs you could begin helping Anubadok project by improving its dictionary database. For this, you really need to help Ankur's dictionary project. You can use its dictionary interface to contribute new entries or edit contributed entries. These new Bengali meanings are then periodically imported into Anubadok's dictionary database.
