I'm looking to get a few TB of SATA-SCSI storage, and I'm wondering what
vendors folks like for this sort of thing. I know all about the tradeoffs

Some groups here like Excel Meridian's products (which do look rather
nice). Any other vendors with good products and support?
We've had good luck with Apple arrays, after having been burned by 3Ware
cards that corrupted data. We've got about 200TB worth of them. We don't
do any SAN, each one is attached to a 1U server and we have our own
"filesystem" to track where stuff is. Works for us.
We've migrated to CoRAID ATA-over-Ethernet and enterprise-class SATA for
most of our work with weather and ocean models here.
