It was the proposal for journal part only ;-)

SSD/flash disks (for increasing of lifetime) attempt not to erase data really - if it's physically possible. But if I use practically whole HDD partition for scratch files (and therefore whole SSD) - IMHO it'll be impossible not to erase flash RAM. What will be w/SSD disk lifetime in that case ?
