We've got GCC 4.3 builds and a 4.4 snapshot on our AMD64
CentOS 5 cluster, no complaints that they don't work.
I just tried building 4.3.1 on Centos 5.2 this afternoon. Hit a problem
in the build. Will try it again tomorrow.
