I've had to do this same thing that Greg describes with my Dell power connect (port fast and spanning tree disable) but on a more fundamental level: Why is the long delay with spanning tree? And is it possible to (a) reduce this delay (b) Increase the timeout for PXE / DHCP? -- Rahul _______________________________________________ Beowulf mailing list, [email protected] sponsored by Penguin Computing To change your subscription (digest mode or unsubscribe) visit http://www.beowulf.org/mailman/listinfo/beowulf
