[...] [non-admin-soap-box] While I enjoyed Nicole's article, I think reproducing it in whole, for wide distribution does HPCWire and Nicole a disservice. HPCWire is advert supported (among other things), and as a measure of their reach, they need to get clicks and click data. Same is true of Rich B's Inside* sites, Doug Eadline's ClusterMonkey and other sites. It helps their cause, reporting upon, and providing good reading/analysis for HPC events, if people visit their sites. It enables them to sell more adverts. So please, don't reproduce articles in whole on the list. IMO, this is bad form, and not helpful to a subset of those in our community. No problem posting a link, or quoting a paragraph that is interesting. I personally want to see HPC reportage increase in quantity/quality. With people like Nicole, Doug Eadline, Rich B, and others, we have a far ... far higher quality of writing than in other fields (thanks to having technically excellent, and intelligent people doing the writing). I hope this continues.
