Hi Eileen

We feed only necks, wings or backs, not legs and thighs. The support bones
"legs & thighs" could splinter as I have been told.
I'm by no means an expert on this subject but this is what works for us and
many other, many others.

In the past we have used support bones but we took a large meat cleaver and
busted the bones into very small pieces. There are a lot of folks that grind
the chicken first.

The dogs do just great the way we feed the bones.

We have also taken legs and thighs when they are on sale, put them in a
crock pot with some garlic powder and what ever veggies we have on hand and
cook for 24 hours, The bones get very soft then but the dogs do love the
fresh raw chicken much better. :-)
