Hi everyone,

Lily seems to have injured her front right leg at the elbow.
She is not limping, but starting yesterday, she let out
awful shrieks of pain when she tried to lie down "wrong" or
stretch her front legs. In general, although she was walking
without a limp that I could see, she was moving much slower
than usual and didn't want to play with our other dog. From
the kinds of movements she was making that caused pain, I'm
sure the pain is coming from her elbow. This morning, she
seemed about the same, although she also seems to have figured
out what caused pain yesterday and avoids doing those things.

She has never had any orthopedic problems, and her elbows were
rated clear by GDC. My question is this -- my first reaction
is to run to the vet -- but should I give it a couple days to
see if it's just something that will resolve itself naturally,
or should I take her in right away?

(BTW, everything else is normal -- appetite, and so on...)

Thanks,
Julia
