We have progressed over the years to using the following items in grooming our Berners:

1. Circuiteer II dryer (it is a warm air dryer, but not very warm, and the power of it is great to blow the water off the coat very quickly). It is easy to move around, and is certainly our choice when blowing coat. Cheapest price I found at kv vet supply - it's not on their site, but it is in their catalog.

2. Teflon-coated greyhound combs fine, medium & coarse - these are the easiest on the coat - even our groom-shy girl accepts being combed by them. Cheapest price is at omahavaccine.com

3. I don't have a brand of thinning shears, but we found lots of good shears & clippers at dogsoutfitter.com.

4. We love using THE Stuff coat conditioner, also found at dogsoutfitter.com, and it helps our skittish girl because it is a detangler too. Gives great shine and keeps hair from getting too static-y. We will use a coat detangler too, if someone gets into burrs our favorite is Cowboy Magic, though we just heard that cornstarch will also work well.

We got our grooming table from dogsoutfitter.com as well, and we do like to use it as our backs get tired when grooming on the floor.
