Posted for Susie Folk, please address replies to her at [EMAIL PROTECTED] We have a 7 yr. old Berner...Charlotte....the love of our family...who just the last 2 months has slowed down considerably. Her appetite has decreased and she has lost about 6-7 pounds...usually weighs about 68 lbs. We live in Norfolk, VA where it is quite hot and humid in summer and she usually is much more active when the weather turns cold. She loves lying outside in the cold air but seems much less bouncy and playful She has become a really picky eater....just doesn't seem to feel well. A visit to our vet a month ago showed normal blood work. She has always been on the small side, but we are very concerned about her lack of energy.....almost seems sad or depressed, but I suspect something physical. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I plan to take her to our vet again this week and wonder if there are specific issues to investigate.
