I was kind of disappointed yesterday when I took my
lover boy BARC Gulliver to the Vet's. To begin with I
could hardly force him inside. We didn't see our
regular vet. The first thing the vet did was anal
temp. which didn't make Gully fond of her. She didn't
think once about the spider bite idea. She only
wanted me to rescheadule for dental exrays under
anethesia.

Office visit $30, antibotics (which I requested!)$49!
I'm not going to start any med's before getting
another opinion.

Gully is just over one year. I haven't been able to
see or feel anything foreign. The vet didn't even try
to look or feel. I think she was afraid of him.
I fully expected her to excise the lump, which I think
is a hematoma.

He remains the same happy, playful, eating normally,
and with a lump in his upper lip!

I think I'll call oura friend, Ray Nachreiner, and get
his opinion. Ray and Martha were on sebatical in
Austria last year. Ray (DVM MSU Proff) wrote a recent
article from his study on Berners. I hate to take
advantage of professional friends, BUT!

I think I am going to go back to a "home vet" too.

Happy Trails, Jeannie in Michigan
Lumpy Gully, Greta, and Soph forever
