What a terrible crazy night! While we were tearing off to celebrate Valentines at Dad's in Midland:
Gulliver tried to go out the doggie door with his huge Elizabethan Collar on. He has to wear it to protect his face. He had surgery to drain an absess area. His doctor couldn't find the cause. Well, he got caught in the door and ended up pulling the whole glass dog door out of the sliding glass door. It must have terrified him and could have killed him. We found him in the back yard with a bent- up collar still on. We had been heating the outdoors for possibly 5 hours. We had debated until the last minute whether to keep the appointment from dinner at my parents C.C. I now know we made the wrong decision. Yikes! Ps. This surgery also has caused me to rethink pet insurance. Gullivers problem has thus far exceeded $500. Greta goes in for exrays this week.
