Scrapple is a breakfast meat (of course some will argue about that, to each
his own) that consists of the following (I need to retrieve a block from the
freezer) Ingredients: Pork Stock, Pork Livers, Pork Fat, Pork Snouts, Corn
Meal, Pork Hearts, Wheat Flour, Salt, Spices. I would assume that the above
are all processed together into a small brick shape and packaged. The
consumer then slices the brick and fries the pieces on each side for 8 to 10
minutes. It has a unique taste as well as texture. Yes it does sound
disgusting and its gray color is not very appealing but generations of my
family have been raised on it and we are all fine.
