Hi Andrea, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I find that over the years I've been breeding Bernese I have found some excellent vets that are right for what my needs are, the price of those services are not my priority. There are some very good vets with reasonable prices and generally they have no problem in refering out to specialists promptly when something is out of their scope. They are able to keep their initial prices lower than specialised clinics because they don't have to maintain specialised equipment and fully trained technicians.
