Hi, One suggestion for scared Berners during fireworks or thunder and lightening storms is to pull the curtains closed and turn on the lights, bright indoor lighting lessens the flash effect. Put on some background music, feed half rations for supper. If they feel more secure in a cupboard or crate then let them have access but the main help is light up the house and pull the curtains. Don't molly coddle but carry on as normal, if your dog is really nervous then a mild sedative from the vets is okay to give.
