et al Personally I never vaccinated baby puppies with Lepto and as our risk factor is low I choose to avoid this one for my dogs. I understood it was the carrying agent that caused the reaction not the vaccine itself and the new vaccine is better and longer lasting. New owners of puppies should discuss with their vet about splitting the vaccines and avoiding those not really needed or at least waiting until puppy is older. They do not have to be pincushions and have all their shots at once. Rose T.
