Well we have topped the 100 plus mark 4 days in a row here in NE Oregon so that means all the 4 adult dogs spend days in the house in front of the cooler.
Our 4 week old litter that has taken over the dinning room goes to their outside 8 X 16 area in the shade at 6:00 AM and stays till about 10 or 11, just depends if there is a breeze or not. Then it is back in the dinning room till around 6:00 pm and we then take them outside in the shaded area beside the house for play time, brushing and just general socialization. The best part of this whole deal is they are spoiled rotten, when they are in the dinning room they have to have their wrapped frozen blue ice blocks or the scream their heads off till they get them. They drape themselves over them and really cool it. It is really a site to see them spread out cooling it in their area.
