Everyone, I have an issue with a single user where the BES Manager (4.1.6.15) will not show a list of GroupWise address books for me to pick from when trying to set up the address book sync. His email, phone, and calendar capabilities are functional. Yesterday I was able to see a single address book but it would not synch. We ran a structural rebuild on the users GW mailbox db file yesterday and I was then able to see all of his address books in the drop down in the BES manager. I left for the night to let the selected address book synch and this morning the device still had not synched. When I checked the BES manager the address books had all disappeared. He has over 10,000 contacts in about 10 different address books. The book I want to synch has around 6000 contacts. He has an address book with 45 contacts that I was going to use as a test, but I cannot select that address book either. His trash folder is not out of control, nor is his sent items. I had him wipe all of the contacts (RSET from contacts) from the Blackberry and tried to push the address books from the server down to the device but was still unsuccessful. I have restarted the BES services, but have NOT rebooted the server. The GWSVC logs and the system event viewer logs show the address book synch as being ignored because there is not an address book selected. There is also the possibility that this is not the only user effected, but it is the only one that I know for sure that it is happening to. Does anyone know how to make address books appear in the BES Manager software? Thanks in advance, William P.
