We use a password min of 6 characters and lock after 15 minutes. Once you 
tell the users its either the password or turn in your device the phone 
calls about the password requirement seem to go away :)

We require a password of at least 4 characters and they have to unlock the 
device after an hour of inactivity.  The password doesn't expire.  Some 
users complain but the password has been over all accepted.
