We moved from MSDE to SQL DB and followed

Subject: [Bes-admins] BES 5.0 Upgrade In Exchange 2003 Environment

Hi Everyone,

I am running a BES 4.6 server MSDE in a VMware environment with about
900 users. We are in the process of getting this database migrated to
SQL 2005 within the next few weeks. I saw Blackberry's webcast today on
migration options, and I was wondering if anyone can provide feedback on
the bet option for my setup. Has anyone done the in place upgrade? Do
you recommend it? Also has anyone implement high availability? Can you
share your experiences. I am thinking the parallel migration sounds like
the safest and cleanest option if I can get a new SRP ordered.

Thanks
