You Need to contact the Provider under which the Pop Account has ben created. Otherwise the provider will keep pushing it. If this was Done already And the Service Book came back then just delete the pop3 Service Books from the device and remove the battery.

I can confirm this, as when I re-activate my device the servicebook
for my old "@att.blackberry.net" email comes down even though that
account is no longer setup through BIS on my device. Deleting the
service book works for me.

I wonder if there is a way to remove this service book from BES so it
will not come down each time I reactivate?

I think the BES backs up BIS service books. Did you try deleting the service

Subject: [Bes-admins] Delete POP email account from BES

A user here just got a new BB (switched from AT&T to VZW) and I activated
them on the new phone via our BES 5 server.

After activating, it moved over a POP account that he no longer uses and doesn't know the pw to. Any idea how to delete it? We created a Verizon BIS account and it isn't showing the POP account. It must have been stored
on BES somewhere...

thanks!
