Error 413" is received when attempting to browse to a web page using the
BlackBerry Browser
I am not sure what the max is. We have a bunch of devices
running 4.1 and 4.2 so that's why I am concerned.

What is
the max data amount? Currently I have 256 KB in BES 5.0.

we maxed it out on
our BES 5 server and I didn't see any impact at all on network or
bandwidth...

Subject: [Bes-admins] Error 413" is
received when attempting to browse to a web page using the BlackBerry

Hi
Everyone,
We have some
BB users who get the above error when they use the Blackberry Browser and try
to
open a page that is larger than the default value of 128KB (the default) max
kb/connection setting in BES manager.
We are
considering increasing this amount to a larger value but are wondering what the
impact would be on the server and also on older blackberry devices that may be
low on memory.
Can anyone
please comment on this.
Thanks
