I don't know what the previous thread said about it, but have you tried setting the delegate permissions to send the meeting invite to the delegate only, so that requests don't go to the executive? Also, for when the admins send out meeting requests, do they have Send As or only Send on Behalf of permissions? Wondering if either permission would have an effect.

I recall this being a royal pain from emails I've looked over and personal experiences with Delegates within Outlook on an Exchange environment (we are on BES 5.x). Executive has Admin assistant set up to handle all meetings. She organizes them for the Exec, and also responds to ones for him on his behalf. In the past I have instructed all the Execs that have a delegate (as I mentioned above) to not open meeting requests on the BBs. Reason being: meetings are not being displayed on the Execs calendar. However the delegate sees the meeting. This is also true if the Delegate sends out new meetings on behalf of the Exec. Also, how do you handle your delegates in this manner? Question is this: Has RIM done anything to resolve this or is this an Exchange issue and the BB / Delegate issue is only compounded by an underlying Exchange issue? Thanks all in advance! ____________________________________________________ Mark Eggan | Blackberry Support | (707) 259 -8142 Information Systems Specialist II P Please consider the environment before printing this message.
