Doreen, I would suggest checking out
http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/blackberry-bold-9000/
Look for released versions (not beta and not hybrid!) and see what people say
about it. Normally, everybody is very excited when
any new version is released, but then people start finding issues.

Having said that, I have a few users running 5.0 OS on AT&T Blackberries. Those
people are very happy with the result.

AT&T hasn't certified a 5.0 OS for their bold.

You can install another carrier's 5.0 OS, here's a good place to get details on
doing that:

I moved my T-mobile 8900 to some other carrier's 5.0 a while ago and never
looked back.

So 5.0 is still not yet available for a Bold 9000? The latest it shows is
4.6.0.519 and I am running 4.6.0.167. Do you think it
is worth upgrading?

thanks

Guy,
How do I find out the latest BB client SW version for a Blackberry Bold 9000
from AT&T. I am running 4.6.0.167 and want to see
if it is worth upgrading.
Thanks
