This is actually my own work BB on BES 4.1.7 - Exchange. 

Last week I got a Sprint Evo (Android) for my personal phone.  It does
Exchange Active Sync for mail, contacts and calendar.  One of the things
it does when you add your multiple accounts is that it tries to link
duplicate contacts.  I have no idea whether this is the cause of the
following problem.

Over the last couple of days, lots of contacts are missing.  They seem
to be there, though.  That is, they don't show up in any autocomplete,
email or phone, but they are still usable from the call history, even
the numbers that weren't dialed.

I can restore the contacts from last week's backup, but I am reluctant
because I don't know what the exact nature of the problem is and don't
want to make things worse.

Any thoughts or insights?
