We are using the Blackberry Monitoring Service for BES 5.x (Exchange) and I am wondering about the following:
We have had reports of users not getting email (over the weekend especially) so I enabled some user monitors for last contact time. I set one to 30 minutes and one to 2 hours for this testing. This is a sample email that I get, this particular email is the "up" alert that the user is no longer in a warning state: User: <NAME> -------------------- User state changed from Warning to Pass Severity level Pass: * Last contact time = 1280162425 (Warning, Pass) What exactly is the "last contact time" number and what is it in relation to? This one is for a 2 Day alert. Anyone else using this? I have found it useful in troubleshooting individual users, but annoying when applied to all. I did however enable an extended period alert if the device has not been contacted in "x" number of days however. ____________________________________________ Dan Mathews CTI Systems Administrator Duncan Solutions, Inc.
