I've seen users here have the same thing. However, it doesn't happen every few hours - seems to be every few weeks. Their connection still shows 3G or 1XEV, but they lose their data services. The last time I had this problem I couldn't connect to the browser or any of our BES functions. I want to say the users in our firm that have reported this have all been on Verizon, but one may not have been. We're on BES 5.0.1

I have a user who has a Verizon 8330 on the latest VZW OS, and she's in Morgantown, WV. She has an issue where she stops getting her firm email, after a battery pull it works for a few hours. She's going to check the signal type the next time it happens to see if it shows no data. Over the weekend (after she was seeing the issue) she went up to VZW territory about 30 minutes from Morgantown and did a *22899 to update her PRL. Verizon doesn't actually have service in Morgantown, the SID on her Blackberry shows she's connected to US Cellular. The only change we've made recently is upgrading BES from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2 but I've received no other reports of issues.
