In BES 4.1 I turn compression on for the log folder. The logs are just .txt
files so they compress very well. Every few months I'll delete old logs and
run disk cleanup. Both could be scripted but I've never found it needed.

Our logs aren't that big, I think 200mb uncompressed for ~350 heavy e-mail
users.

Subject: [Bes-admins] BESX Logs Filling Up Drive

The log files in C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise
Server\Logs keep growing out of control. Has anyone experienced this and if so
what was the solution?
