I posted this question a week ago and sorry but I couldn't locate the response. I just found it (see below) and a member said the following: I have content protection enabled on my device as well and I have no issues modifying contacts directly on the device. So I am hoping to get clarification from anyone in the group that is familiar with this issue.
thanks Because content protection is enabled the user won't be able to modify contact information on the blackberry directly. Therefore they will have to modify the contact from within outlook or whatever program is set up to synchronize with the blackberry.
