One more thing - all servers running Win2k8 R2 64-bit.

wow - I know it could be done on separate virtual hosts (VMs) hosted on the
same physical server, but never thought you could do that within one virtual
host or VM.

Correct - all in one! Both on the same server(s).

Hmm… I’m running 4 of them without any issues… Maybe *my* BAS did not know
about this restriction? ☺

So I called RIM about the error I was getting with logging into BMS service and
BAS and they explained that I cant have both running on the same host because
of the 'partition singleton' was fighting for resources, or something like
that. Im calling them back today..

It really depends on the box and the number of users. There's a point where

I am getting an error setting up BAS on a dedicated host that is virtual. The
error looks like this.

Cluster singleton Status
HOT-BES-01 BlackBerry Administration Service singleton
HOT-BAS-01 Partition singleton

The issue is with HOT-BAS-01, and the error is in red.

Has anyone seen this?
