After the fact: Correct, no 4g Blackberrys, but evidently the outage impacted
the 3g network as well and there are such things as 3g BlackBerrys.

I'm more of a GSM person, but I understand that a LTE device should be able to
step down from LTE -> EVDO -> 1xRTT. Maybe it is just semantics, but the
statement that they "stepped down to 1XEVDO" made it sound like they were using
LTE or something "above" EVDO. I'm guessing the original poster meant the
BlackBerrys stepped down to 1xRTT from EVDO.

FYI, Verizon tweeted about two hours ago that the LTE network is now back
online.

I wasn't aware of any LTE BlackBerrys; what are your models "stepping down to
1XEVDO" from?

I noticed our Verizon BlackBerrys stepped down to 1XEVDO so they are all
functioning. Otherwise, any ramifications we need to be aware of?
Insights?
