From what I see if you’re connected via wifi everything works fine and if 
you’re connected via Cell (3G in my case) it is very spotty and slow.

I just got off the Phone with Rim.  Here is there official statement concerning 
this issue:




•             We are experiencing a BlackBerry service issue impacting some 
subscribers in the Canada and LATAM region.

•             The incident is impacting Canada and a few carriers from the 
LATAM region who connect to the Canada and LATAM Relay.

•             Some BlackBerry subscribers may be experiencing minor delays in 
sending or receiving messages. Some BlackBerry subscribers are experiencing 
delays in using other services such as Internet browsing or instant messaging.

•             All relevant support and executive teams have been engaged are 
working to resolve the issue.

•             BlackBerry support teams have been engaged and restarting the 
affected components to resolve the service as quickly as possible.

•             We will continue to provide updates as they are available. There 
is no estimated time to resolution (ETTR) at this time.

•             Thank you for your support and patience.



Also, this update has just come in this minute:



US :

•             BES and BIS email is passing, but some users may see delays as we 
clear queues. BESs are connecting to the infrastructure and should be passing 
traffic; some messages may be queuing.

•             NOTE: Rbridge (the connection between global Relays) is impacted, 
so messaging between regions will be affected. An Enterprise customer with a 
BES in one region, and SIMS from another region will be affected. (i.e. BES in 
US, SIMs from a UK carrier – the UK Device will not receive BES email).
